Is population explosion coming to an end in India?

All these years we have been talking about taming our country’s rising population but with the release of the NFHS-5 survey, it seems, we need to rethink our stance on our country’s population growth keeping in mind the economic and social implications. India could have experimented with harsher policies like the “One Child Policy” or forced sterilization but we rightly chose education and social awareness.
